Ali Jordan, seen out at a clubland engagement is another regular visitor to the Mercury area. This is an artiste who is long on glamour and charm and her freindly and natural line in crowd approach, married with her glamour and distinctive singing voice have made her a real favourite in club land. Alis voice is redolent in tone to Alison Moyet, but her long-gowned approach is reminiscent of a Shirley Bassey style performer.

An act that came across well on the showcase produced by agent Joy Lorraine was Ali Jordan. I was most impressed with Ali Jordan, who recently won the newcomers of the year award. Ali is a charasmatic performer who just seems to get better and better.
